The monster woke me up again today
He wants what he wants Don’t care what I say

Til the sun goes down
And even then he won’t go away

The monster’s gonna sleep with me tonight
Dig his claws in deep  Gonna hold on tight
He’s gonna star in all my dreams
Stealin' every scene
And wake me again come morning light

Rosie hustled up some chips
Man we almost lost our minds
We was scared they’d make us sick
So we chewed each one at least a dozen times.

I’m gonna lay that monster down someday I swear
Gather up the food from everywhere
Eat every bite until
I finally get my fill
But today I’ll just pretend that I don’t care
About that monster
